He is laughing at ARC becuase it is overpriced and nothing special performance wise. You would get better performance out of say...a hyperflow core for less money. Usually people who go with ARC just go for the "look" or "idea" of the item and are usually not that concerned with actual performance. These people are also known as "Posers".

Alas, this is not always the case, and i would be incorrect to assume anything.

That being said, why are you concerned with the way it looks STI-JDM? The reason people rotate their intake manifold is to reduce the i/c piping, which helps with lag and throttle response. Not for the looks of it.

I think it looks pimp, but that shouldnt matter, you should be happy with the performance increase.

well the first reason I'm using the ARC FMIC is because my turbo is not too big (FP Green) and I think the fmic is enough for the power that I have right now and it's really light compared to other fmics in the market. oh and also, I bought the FMIC used LOL, so I didn't pay full price

uhm... are you talking about the poll that I have on the thread? it's not about the reversed manifold LOL... it's about the CF license plate cover and I haven't had a chance to feel the difference yet because I currently have no BOV at all.

Isn't that AC pulley sitting on the IC piping? That can't be good...

ARC is the some of the highest quality product to come out of Japan. Let alone the fact that ARC is Japans best selling line of aftermarket parts, their products are very well proven. I have talked to some of the best tuners in the country and they alll said the same thing ARC is top notch. I could go into detail about how the arc core design creates better airflow or how the piping has some of the best bends and longest continuous pieces, but I would be just jabbering on.

William the car looks great man. W1 did a nice job and I am sure that it will be a great performer.

now you just need to go with a rotated turbo so you can route your outlet under the manifold.

ARC's marketing worked...they created yet another sucker.

Amazing how none of the high hp subies use ARC cores. They must not have the $$ to afford one.

Ahhh gotcha, yeah i thought the poll was for the reversed intake mani being that the majority of the pics were of that.

Take some pics in direct sunlight, its kinda hard to see and i would like to see how the cf looks with good lighting.

w00t... looks good but the problem is our piping are different. your piping that goes into the turbo coming out from the right side which mine is coming out from the left

Well i dont want this to be a completely one side arguement. I dont mind being learned as long as the other side presents a valid point. I would love to here your side, but remember i highly value a good performance to cost ratio.
