Default AEM's new engine computer??

Does anybody have any info on this??

I heard that it debuted at SEMA, and some people that were there say that it was amazing... plug-n-play REPLACEMENT cpu. and I hear that it will be affordable too..

there was also an ad in the new SuperStreet.

They dont list any applications, but they say, "many import applications available"
I assume that the WRX is one of the applications that they will release it for.

Anybody have any more info on this? their site doesnt even show it...

TIA

From overboost.com

as well as stand-alone engine management system for Honda and Acura cars. The virtue of this system is that it plus directly in to your stock wire harness! Apparently it's quite a good system because ...it's used on Stephen Papadakis's new FWD Pro Import racecar. Steph's car represents the state-of-the-art in sport compact drag racecars.

Actually it is available for many car but it is NOT available in plug and play format for WRX. AEM claims they designed it in-house but I have a hard time believing that.

AEM indeed make it in house..you would be amazed at their capabilities, it will be a plug ands play unit for many cars soon.
look at around $1000 bucks for the unit

This looks like a pretty decent system, but the plug n play option would make it that much more appealing. If that $1000 price tag is true, that will make it a viable option for a LOT of people too!!

from what ive heard, it is comparable to the Motec.

Now that sounds like a pretty strong claim to me, but if its true, and only $1K....

look out!

No way........that is one hell of a claim for a $1000 product!! I'll believe it once it is tried and tested, but it would be nice
