Default US 2.0 plus a STi Oil Pump

Is it possible to use the STI oil pump on a stock wrx 2.0 i know the ump is supose to pump a little faster than the wrxs.
Ive also read stuff like its the same pump.
What about the water pump also.

Ive two brand new pumps sitting here i dont know if i should even try useing reason i still have them is cuase i havent tried selling them yet and was still having second thoughts after i put them on the ej205 SB swap.

Im one of those guys that screws things way the heck up so breaking anything new relating to fixing the my wrx scares me.

You can interchange water and oil pumps. I did.
