Default Decent sized rock chip on the windshield

So this is what I get for skipping Philosophy 100 today. I was on the highway today and before entering a tunnel near Greektown all I hear is a loud b-i-n-g. I instantly know what I'm looking for as I have seen the rock fly away from the windshield.

I got a decent sized rock chip on the passenger side. On the outside a very small piece of glass is chipped off, and from the inside one can see the rock chip and how the chip started to spider crack a little.

Is there any fix for this or is it simply a waiting game to see if the crack will get bigger (knocks on wood)?
