here's some good advice, on a 2001, try installing another o2 sensor. The autometer won't work with the voltage range of our front o2 sensors, and the rear is not worth using for A/F

wish I would have read that last one before I installed it..
I'm getting a reading that goes off scale low when I decelerate...
I'm currently assuming that my indication is leaner than my condition....
either way.. it's not right.

How much is that autometer O2 sensor?

Just get any 0-1v o2 sensor and have a muffler shop weld the new bung for it into the exhaust before the cat. I think the sensor kits can be had for about 60-70$ if not cheaper.

Hopefully you didn;t blow up your gauge. A lot of times when people install a A/F meter on a Wideband O2 sensor without knowing it, the meter becomes junk because it fries the electronics

the only time it ever indicates off scale is when I decellerate. then it indicates lean... that's low voltage right? So I think it's still ok.
But thank you guys for the warning.
