Can you buy the lips from the parts department yet? I am assuming they will fit on an 06 with no issues.

its the same part number per renick and the vegas dealers sell it for over $600 and renick has the oem one for $460 fitment is great and you have to drill 10 holes but it looks great and you have to go slow over steep drive ways otherwise a very nice apperence mod.

The only urethane option is the stupid looking CS style. I wouldn't put a cf or glass lip on my car at all. Once small hit, and it looks like shyt. |

After looking at some 06 threads. I see some people have the V limited lip on their 06. How much is that lip and where to get it? I don't want the carbon fiber one.

Carbon fiber is just not my thing, I've very rarely liked the look of CF on any car.
To clarify, there is a difference from the V-limited lip and the 07 STI limited lip? or are they the same? |

actually not a bad price all things considered.
Might not be eveyone's taste, but I like OEM. I am also not a fan of CF. I personally think it is ricey, especially when used on other parts of the car(a story for another day). Its my car, my money. I'll take 1 V-Limited lip please ![]() No difference - same lip - different car. |

So is drilling required for that oem lip or not? I noticed some lips required it and others didnt.

Yes drilling is required. $445 is a steal, since a few montsh ago they were $545 + shipping! Great lip, mine has cracks and scrapes everywhere but it is still functional and to me thats what it's there for. I like it primarily because it protects the bumper and paint and the flat black spoiler can eventually be removed and refinished with some poly epoxy and poly filler and a can of flat black paint

SPT is supposedly making a version, which should be cheaper cause it will be minus the STi badging.

I just got an EA auto lip. I like it, but it came way to shiny, and not the greatest quality. I could see a lot of waves in the material. Oh well, a little Bondo and some flat black paint and it will look perfect, and for a lot less than 445. Looks just like an 07 limited.

matt84, does your lip have cracks and scrapes from curbs or from road debris? Also, anybody have pictures they can post, I'd like to see how the lip looks with the stock 06 wheels.
