Default My best 1/4 mile time at last subaru shootout in byron

That was an awsome day at Byron on the 21st. I have the 06 black wrx tr.
My best and first time was a 12.8 at 104.45mph. Too bad later that day when i was on my 5th run my car died right at the tree and i had to be pushed out. I took it to the dealer today and now hopefully they can fix my tranny.

My mods are:
Invidia catless downpipe
Invidia g200 exhaust
aps intake
sti tmic
sti vf39w/ported wastegate
ecu-tek reflash
290whp and 320wtq

This is officially the first time I've heard of a new 5MT breaking. I guess it's good to know, as I thought no reports = nearer bulletproof. :-/

I think i talked w/ ya at the first attempt of the shootout. I had the blue 06 wrx.

Im curious as to what the dealer says about your car.

Well, i got my car back today. Somehow the shift linkage got wound up and so tight that i couldn't shift and it was extremely hard to get it into gear. They loosened it, re-adjusted it, and re-oiled it. It was all covered under my warranty. It seems ok now except its still a little stiff when i shift, i might take it back in again. They asked if i had any aftermarket modifications and i told them i have an exhaust and an intake. They didn't ask about the sti tmic or sti turbo but those aren't aftermarket parts are they... So i don't think they could really say anything about those parts unless they found out that i had a re-flash done

What, did all your skill go away once you crashed your car into that truck?

Rev rev rev, slip and go.

I've done that at least once a day for a year.. and finally my clutch is starting to give out after 80,000 miles.

My motor blew, too.. but that's a different story.
