Default So, this is one of my co-workers

Actually, a contractor for us (name baleeted):

Quote:
VANCOUVER - A 27-year-old man has been charged with assault and break and enter after an 11-year-old girl woke up screaming Saturday when she found a man in her bed.

Her screams woke up her parents, who saw a strange man leaving their daughter's bedroom and heading downstairs in the family home near Broadway and Alma, around 3 a.m.

The girl's father confronted the man while the mother called 911. During a violent struggle at the door, the man's head hit a glass window, which broke, cutting the man, who managed to flee with his shirt almost torn off.

The couple's neighbours also heard the struggle and called police, who arrested the man about a block away.

"It's a parent's worst nightmare," Vancouver police spokesman Const. Tim Fanning said Monday.

The man, from a small community in northern B.C., entered the home through an unlocked window on the main floor of the home.

"He was living in Vancouver," Fanning said of the suspect, who was bloodied during the altercation with the father. "It's unclear whether he was staying in a residence nearby."

<baleeted>, 27, is charged with break and enter and two counts of assault in connection with the incident.

The assault charges relate to the altercation with the father and the alleged contact with the girl, who was traumatized but not injured in the incident.

"Just by touching her would be an assault," Fanning explained.

<baleeted> will remain in custody until a bail hearing Wednesday at Vancouver Provincial Court.

<baleeted> was charged last May 20 with aggravated assault and assault in Dease Lake. He had been released on bail and was facing trial on those charges in November.

<baleeted> is originally from Iskut, a small Tahltan native community of 283 people located in northwestern B.C.
My room-mate is friends with this guy's girlfriend, was out drinking with him the night this happened and swears that he just got drunk and somehow thought he was going back to his girlfriend's house.

In Vancover I think you can use the "I was drunk" defense twice.

Canadian phones have 3 buttons. Instead of numbers they have pictures of a Moose, a Maple leaf, and a sixer of Molson.

Does he always enter his girlfriend's house by finding an unlocked window?

Hey, color me skeptical. I don't really know the guy, but as far as I'm concerned, you make your bed, you lie in it. Or something like that.

So, in case of need, is it Moose-Molson-Molson? Do I have to hit John Candy before dialing or do i go straight to an outside line?

Ok, I think I have this figured out... the maple leaf button calls for the RCMP, the Molson button calls for beer delivery, but what does the moose button do?

Booty call?
