Default Central VA FS: JDM FORESTER STi 6 speed

Well, I am changing my mind yet again. I had planned on running this beast with my 2.5 swap and the more I am thinking about it, the more I am thinking that I am going to go with a dog box and save the 100lbs that would be added on by converting to a 6mt.

Here are the specs of the FORESTER STi 6 speed:

Gear Ratios:
1st: 3.636
2nd: 2.235
3rd: 1.521
4th: 1.137
5th: .891
6th: .707
Final Drive: 3.90

Miles Per Hour Per Gear (speed at 7000rpm):
1st: 5.24 (36.68)
2nd: 8.52 (59.64)
3rd: 12.52 (87.64)
4th: 16.75 (117.25)
5th: 21.38 (149.66)
6th: 26.94 (188.58)

I have other figures on the gearing as well if anyone is interested. I was going to use this tranny b/c of the fact that it wouldn't hinder 1/4 times as much as the usdm sti or the jdm sti. It is non-dccd (stronger center diff) and only has 9500km on it. I brought it in directly from japan and as far as I know there is NO car running this transmission in the US. I have pictures, I have a v8 r180 rear end with limited slip differential, I have rear sti axles and I have the hubs needed for the swap. The only thing I am missing are the driveshaft (was going to go carbon fiber) and the rear brembos (I was going to do conversion axles b/c I already have F/R wilwood bbks).

Any questions, feel free to email me or pm me. I am open to offers but I will say this, it is going to be on the expensive end of the jdm transmissions most of you have seen. It's rare, it has better gearing than the impreza 6mts and I don't NEED to sell it. So basically, lowballers can take a hike.

As far as shipping, I will paletize and crate the components, buyer arranges and pays for shipping (I will help as I have a good connection for freight services). If there is any concern about my packaging I can show pics of the motor I was going to run that I sold and I can have the buyer vouch for how well it was packaged...I think fort knox was part of the conversation I had when it arrived.

Anyway, enough bs, here is the listing, I will email pics upon request WITH the serial number photographed as well.

Thank you for your time,

Brian

Thanks man, I guess alot of people here don't realize it is the same case as the impreza box but with much better gears. BTW I notice you are in the ville, what do you drive? I am in charlottesville as well.

MAYBE if you swapped out the center diffs. The forester sti's just like some of the jdm impreza sti's did not come with the dccd center diff from the factory.
