What are the effects of cramming big internals into the small housing? Are there any negative effects??

no not at all it still retains the td05 turbine just a bigger compressor thats what the td05 means its the size of the turbine, same as the 16gs and 18gs.

yes there are negative effects, if the bushing isn't strong enough over time the turbo will fail. There is a reason deadbolt gives a lifetime rebuilt warranty on all the turbos they sell directly to customers.

They used a TD05 exhaust housing(turbine side/hot side). The compressor housing is not a "td05".
Albeit not as efficient as using the 20G housing it will still perform pretty nicely.

StaticX motorsports experimented with adding larger internals to the VF39. He ditched the project because it wasn't performing well and had alot of complications, at least, thats how I remember it...

why dont you make sure you know what youre talkin about before typing anything td05 does mean how big the turbine wheel is i dont know where you got it was just a housing. and second what would you like me to call the housing? cause it fits a 16g,18g,and a 20g do you want me to call it a "16g,18g,20g, housing" next time cause i will just for you.

well we'll see and did they ever sell the bigger compressor wheel with the vf39 i know you said they ditched but SBR sells the td05 20g so im pretty sure it should be fine like why would they sell a defective turbo? But well just all have to wait till NOV.11th for my tune ill keep everyone posted.

Don't take it personally, if your turbo had Forced Performance in it's name everyone would be supporting you on your choice.

For some reason the words "Slowboy Racing" makes people very pissy.

I wonder what happened to his slowboy turbo?
