Default FS: Apexi Turbo Timer w/ HKS harness - Added pics!

Like the title says, Apexi TT with HKS harness. Excellent condition and works great. $65 obo. Local pickup or shipped.

Picture and price of Apexi turbo timer
Picture and price of the HKS harness

$119 - timer
+$ 24 - harness
= $143+tax+shipping

Why pay all that when you can get the exact same one that is almost brand new for only $65!

Ok, so I took some pics or where I installed it and a quick lesson on how to connect it. So...

Always disconnect your battery before working on electrical components, for both you and your cars safety!
1. Remove the kick panel from the driver side under the steering wheel.
2. Locate and unplug the blue connectors, which can be found towards the bottom very close to the center console.
Like so...

3. Connect the appropriate ends of the harness to these connectors. (think of it as intercepting the communcation. Rerouting if you may.)
Like so...

4. Connect the single connector of the harness to the control unit. (It only fits one way) Then secure the control unit somewhere under the kickpanel nicely with some zip-ties or something else of that matter.
5. Connect the ground wire to a bolt that is touching raw metal surface, so you will get the proper grounding effect.
6. Place the display unit where ever it makes you happy. Thick, double sided tape works great.
7. Fire it up and test it out.

Here is a pic of where I placed the TT on my car. Please feel free to use my idea if you like it!

And as for the O2 wires, I never hooked them up, but if you click here you can find the Apexi manual on how to do everything. It's a .PDF file so make sure you have Acrobat Reader. (it's free)

P.S. - Please correct me if I made any crucial mistakes. This is my first somewhat "How-to" post. I welcome feedback.

-Mike
