Question E-charger

Has anyone else seen this thing or had any experience with it? The company claims a horsepower increase an even shows an install on what appears to be an RS. It would seem to be a novel little way to get a few more horses for not alot of money? I found the site by googling electricsupercharger.

SCC did a review on one of these at some time. Looks to be an occasional use type of thing, rather than an always on.

I'd get it. If i had an N/A car.
best thing to do would be to buy a slave battery (like a small motorcycle battery) and hook up a DPDT switch to it. then wire it so it runs on 24 volts. that might make you some power. then when you turn the swtich the other way it'll charge the battery with your alternator.

and last thing you'd need is a switch that turns it on when you hit WOT so you're ECU is adding enough fuel. If you want some more info about i have lots of paperwork about building your own. Some of its usefull....

This question has been around for a long time. For a responce somewhat akin to dropping blood into a shark tank, as about it in OT.
