Your car and your call, of course, but installing this looks to be about a 5 minute job. Why would that need to wait for you to remove the diff next spring?

Mine's not supposed to be delivered until Monday.

Ah! Thats great news Kosta!

I was under the car today and was thinking if it will hit the rear diffuser. Did you have to remove the diffuser to do the install?

I'd recommend removing it, but the way mine is installed it was less hassle to just work with it (IE bend it around), I did have to cut out one piece to fit the brace though.

my rear doesn't flop around anymore. It's a little noisier in the gear whine department. But less thunking around.

hey buddy how was the installed? did it come with all the hardware bolts etc, that you needed for the install? did this just bolted right up to your rear diff. studs? Did you keep the old gummy rear diff. bushing there? if anybody can please post with the details of the installed.

We CAN, however I am guessing it will be tough to find another 10 people that are interested in the brace. We can get you the brace coming in from Japan by it self, if you would like. It will take several weeks, but we can get you one fore sure.
Let me know what you would like to do
Thanks
Rick

well, actually, it didnt fit quite like it should.

this is probably due to the fact that the rear subframe i have is an STi type RA, and has the R180. i checked them out prettty close when out of the car, and they seemed slightly different shape, and i know that they are now.

a test fit on my RS subframe in the backyard fit perfect, but the RA subframe has its bushing holes tweaked away from eachother. i thought the subframe was bent, but looking at it closer, the bushings are different than the RS ones, and the subframe had much more contour in the areas that the subframe would hit the body. so the RA subframe is longer (front to back) and looks aot beefier. another difference is that there is no rubber in the subframe where it bolts to the body. so, in general, my subframe extends about 1ish inches further back. i had to lower the subframe to get the brace on, and had to shim the outer bolt up points of the brace so the brace wouldnt be bent when tightened up.

moral: if you have a GC RA subframe it might not fit right, but will work. its also really loud, since theres no bushings to the body from the subframe. i also dont know if there are year differences between RA subframes.
