Default Uppipe leak Need to See if anyone have used muffler cement.

Well i got an UR uppipe with the EWG setup btw they make the worst ***** ever uppipe doesnt sit right on my header ive tried everything to make it work ive done plenty of uppipe install and never had a problem with leaks. And also there uppipe flange to the turbo, the bolt didnt fit right i had to reem or ream out one of the holes on the turbo flange to even make it fit. So i was seeing if anyone else had any sort of remedies for me. My buddy andy at xotic said to use muffler cement but that was for the catback but ive never seen the stuff if anybody has could u help a brother out cause i cant take this BS anymore. And if the stuff would hold up under that heat. Thnx.

BTW Ultimate Racing, ive had nothing but bad fitment from them i bought a tial BOV with there homemade flange to fit the TMIC and that didnt fit wasted 300 dollars and now this uppipe BS im never buyin anything from them ever!! I shouldve bought an element instead but oh well i guess im tired of b*tchen now. PEACE.

I'm sure youv'e used new gaskets, but Qualco makes a great joint and crack exhaust system sealer I used on my downpipe and it works great.

from the dp to the cat back right, if so that spot doesnt even get close to getting as hot as the header to the uppipe i need some that will withstand like 1,500 degrees+.

Not trying to rub it in but slowboy racing had a really nice EWG up pipe you should have looked into... they just take the invidia up pipe and flange it for whatever EWG you use... and its invidia so you know chances are in your favor for it fitting.

But SBR does make mistakes too, my EWG flange was a bit warped (probably from the heat of the welding) and I kept blowing 35mm gaskets..... so I told them about it and no hesitation they said bring it up and they'd make it right for free...

Anyway try advance auto I know they have Muffler sealant, maybe it has the temp on it?

Simple to use too, just wire brush the spot a bit, then put the putty on and let it sit a couple hours (I'd do it over night)

Had the same problem with my UR up-pipe. Nothing worked to band-aid fix it, so I bought a Vibrant Flex piece, welded than in and no problems since.
