Default Auburn Subaru & 07 STI Limited

So Cortnay and I go to dinner tonight at the KEG in Renton and on the way out we noticed a nice new 07 Sti limited in the parking lot. No tags to be found, it did not look to be sold, the window sticker was still it in i wonder if this was a salesmen taking it out for the weekend or what? Hum not something id like to see happening to a 36,600$ car.

I just bought my Spec V from there, and it was in the showroom, some older guy was looking into buying it.

most likely not a salesperson taking it home, but maybe a manager or the store owner lol...

either way, it shouldn't be driven...

I always stick to the low miles..... First car had 2 miles and second car had 6 when I bought them. Although I don't know how those miles were driven, it helps minimize the chances of abuse.

the miles are from stupid things. being driven out of the container and onto the truck. drivin to the PDI bay, driven back, test drives, its a bunch of small things. almost 0 cars end up with 0 miles on them by the time they get back to the lot.

And if you were the lucky one that did get a car with "0" miles who knows what could have/would have been missed if the Pdi was not done...

Perzactly. The cars NEED to be driven guys. 20-40 miles is perfectly acceptable for a brand new car. More is okay, depending on how long the dealership has had the car.

Maybe when the car gets back to the dealership for someone to buy, they will get left overs from the KEG in the trunk!

Is it wrong that I once had leftovers from Olive Garden in my trunk for 2 days before taking it out, nuking it and eating it? (It was winter after all so it stayed cold)

The Keg in Olympia was closed too.

My 06 had 18 miles on it when I bought it, and the Forester that the dealership let me drive to Idaho to pick up my car had 18 miles on it too....when I left the lot in Puyallup!!

They made you do the dealer trade yourself? Tha'ts messed up, they have someone to do that, and can suffer HUGE liability had you wrecked...that was pretty irresponsible of that dealership.

Nobody made me do anything.

They said they could have someone drive my car over from Idaho or that I could take one of their cars and go pick it up. I said, I'll put the miles on my car and not one of the dealer jockeys, thanks and roadtripping I went.

What liability would there be if I wrecked? That's what insurance is for.

It's super expensive for them to be insured for that. Just try and get a job doing that with a ticket on your record....impossible!

That's if you bend over and take it.....I would push to have the dealership's insurance cover it.

But, nothing happened, and nobody bent over to take anything.

I saw the STI limited at the Seattle Auto Show and it didn't have the front lip.... and I asked the lady why it didn't have it and she said that they don't come with one!!! Then she gave me a brochure and it clearly states that the lip is included.

That's probably because most people figured out they're a lousy restaurant chain.

Not impossible.
I do this for the Ford Stealership in my town. They said they could afford me as long as I wasn't rocking any DUI's or vehicular assault and stuff.
I just drove a new Escape hybrid to Port Angeles (got 20.1 ave. MPG ) and brought back a new turbo superduty. 18 hours straight, thank god for red bull.

not at highway speeds, the cvt has the little gas engine runnin at nearly redline when your cruising at highway speeds! and the thing rides like a truck! STIFF springs in the back to hold up the extra battery weight. I really like the v6 escape.
