Default Violent shaking, 02 wrx

Couldn't find an old topic that had the answer to this. When I push it hard (not necissarily WOT, but whenever I get up to 5k rpm and decently high boost) ONLY in 3rd gear (haven't tried 4th or 5th...that's too fast) the car shakes VIOLENTLY...Been doing this since I had the uppipe replaced yesterday. There are no unusual noises or CELs. The car is very peppy and drives fine otherwise. Could it be bad plugs? Bad gas? I always fill up at the same station.

Did you put on the upipe yourself or have someone else do it. Did the pipe have a flex joint in it. It could be from all the engine vibration being transferred through the rest of the car.something might have been left losse maybe a motor mount but i dont know why they might have taken it loose.

Did they do the uppipe from the top or from the bottom? If the latter they may have unbolted an engine mount... and forgotten to re-bolt it...
