Default just put on dunlop m2's ... opinion

I just took off the summer tires and put the dunlop m2's on the stock rims back on my wrx.

They are great.. very smooth (not quite as smooth as summer tires). but a great ride and I took it up to 100 and they handle really well, hard to belive they are snow tires.

I also put the pilot alpines on my wifes maxima... Not as impresed with these.. Still a fairly smooth ride but I kept chirping the front tires, maybe not as much surface area as the stock 225 17's I took off and replaced with 215 55 16's ...

Default Your gauges

lgkahn,

I remember you got some nifty gauges for your car. What is the contact for them, and can you get them with a black face?

Thanks,

BD

I have the M2's also. Haven't put them on yet, it's to warm yet here. Want to put them on now, my Yoko A520's are so loud. Does the car still handle pretty good?

Thumbs up Love mine!

I love my M2s! They squeal way less than the RE92s at the same size. They are quiet and very stable even at high speeds. Comming back from skiing my neice got sick in the car (A4 not WRX) and I booked it down from the Einsenhower Tunnel at 100+. The car handled great and with no drama.

And before anybody flames me for going to fast... no there was no snow, I only blasted to 100 after passing at normal speed and getting clear road ahead, AND someone was puking in my car!!

Only bad thing about them is they don't handle deep snow as well as some of the other non-performance snows. I'll live with that though.

Ok tried the same exit of rte 93 that I take going to work with these tires.. as expected not as good as my summer tires..
they squealed at 55 mph.. where my summer tires had no squealing at 65 mph.

the summers were nothing real expensive either

goodyear eagle gsd's

still like them though.. just will have to tone it down a little from my normal driving habits
