Default Custom Co2 sprayer kit for WRX/STI

A buddy and me are in the process of making Co2 intercooler kits for our STI's. We are actually thinking about marketing them. The only difference in our kit and say a Cryo2 and NX, is we use a 20oz tank instead of a heavy 10lb tank like they use. NX and Cryo2 sell for 400-500 bucks, we could sell ours for 300 shipped. We are going to use good quality parts, none of the cheap knock off stuff. Kit includes:

1- 20oz tank
1- 14' steel braided line ( from tank to solenoid )
1- 2' steel braided line ( from solenoid to halo )
1- solenoid ( exact same as Cryo2 )
1- choice of switch ( WOT, boost or push-button )
1- Arming switch ( LED toggle or round style )
1- custom made halo for your application
1- kevlar jacket for tank ( saftey first )
1- WRX/STI install instructions ( with color pictures for reference )

Right now were still in the design process, but just posting this to see if there is a market for it. If anyone is interested or has questions, shoot me a PM.
Nick

I would suggest larger than a 20 oz tank. And for 300 dollars i would expect alot more

$300 is way to high, I can build it for almost half that.. I have a hookup for the solonoid and lines and such (I have been building airbagged cars and trucks for 10 years) BTW beware of the solonoids you use not all are rated for liquid co2. and the bottle is super cheap as well but they wont let you run at the track since you wont have a blowdown tube if the burst disc lets go. just FYI....

The kit my partner and I are putting together is exactly the same as a NX or Cryo2 kit. The only difference is the size of the tank. I think 300.00 shipped for a custom kit is alot better than paying 450.00 for a universal application kit.

Maybe you should consider testing the system and expected number of uses with a tiny 20oz tank. The NX and Cry02 kits only get a small handful of spray with 10lbs of supply, I would imagine 20ozs would only provide a single spray of a few seconds… What good is that?

Not to mention many folks in the Suby community are not big fans of C02 spray given the intercooler positioning to the intake and likely possibility of ingesting C02 polluted air which defeats performance.

If you really want to build/market/sell a C02 product, how about making a more useful sealed system like this, only cheaper:
