Quick ??? on the hydra
Hey everyone i just purchased my hydra got a sweet deal, bought phils hydra for $1200 with WB. This may seem like a dumb question, do i need to keep my factory 02 plugged in? reason im asking because stupid me forgot to unplug the harness while taking the engine out and ripped the wires from the sensor
was the uppipe 02 sensor Cheers Stu

the up-pipe is an egt sensor in stock form if i'm not mistaken

I thought the wideban 02 sensor went on the down pipe? 4inches back from the turbo??

Either you use the stock one, or the wide band when tunning. The Hydra uses the one after the turbo in the STI's. Use the wideband for tunning and auto tune, then when done, install the stock one back. This will make your wideband last longer, especially if you use a lot of racing gasoline. In the select/settings/closed loop menu, in the left and right sensors enable 14.7 U/HEGO when using the stock sensor. With the wide band, when not in auto tune, use 14.7 Wide Band HEGO. When doing auto tune with the wide band, use the wide band target table. I do not think you can use both at the same time.

Remove the front stock sensor. The Hydra does not use the front sensor on the Subarus, and leaving an unpowered sensor in the exhaust is a good way to kill the sensor.
