Talking oh no, not another Rogers thread from me!!

I am thinking about getting an AT&T phone from the states, does anyone know if it will work with Rogers?

I know they are both TDMA, but just wondering if the service provider code thingy is the same...
anyone know?

Depends on the model phone but there is a good chance it won't. The only phones I know of that work cross border are GSM and Sim card type phones like FIDO.

i got the T193 with the rogers contract yesterday... i havnt use it yet, since i'll be using my 8290 with it. overall it's nothing special, except it's antenna free.

imo, wait for the T39, V66. but both sux when compare to the T68, since sooner or later, the T68 will be cheaper. (they have it at simpro for $999 + 14% tax) price should be under $600.
