Default Spark plug temp?

Question about spark plugs- I have searched and read about this some, but wanted more opinions.

With 34k miles, I have been considering a spark plug change. My question: I'm at Cobb stage 2 now, but am planning to do a moderate turbo upgrade with supporting mods fairly soon. Would it be a mistake to go to one step colder plugs now, if I end up still running at stage 2 for a while, say several months?

Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

Yes it will not hurt anything. Just helps prevent detination. Also Oakos Auto does free shipping to Alaska.
