Default Grooved Rotors a big deal or not??

I've read a lot of complaints about grooved rotors on the new WRX and I just looked at mine on my new car the other day. The rotors do look grooved, but I ran my finger accross the the surface and it felt completely smooth...

I can't see them devolping grooves from aggressive pads as someone said after as few as 1-5 miles from the manufacturer to the dealer. So, are these really grooves or just something to do with the manufacturing process of the rotor?

Guess if they work, they work! Does anyone acutually have noticeble grooves or scoring deep enough to feel?

Mike

Mine are grooved and so are many others cars straight from the factory. This is okay, and will even itself out overtime. It's too bad that it looks cosmetically aweful. It's like driving around with a CEL light on and your car only has 2k miles on it. But yet everything runs fine.
