Default WRX struts/springs on a 97 OBS??

Hi all, I really hope that I can find an answer to this, as I already have all of the parts. I have a 1997 OBS wagon, and I am wondering if i put my WRX (MY02) strut/spring set-up on it, what it would do?? I am told that I would get a little lift out of it (which is what i want). But I dont have a firm answer. I also would like to know, if I did do this, would I still be able to align the vehicle, or would I need to get the cradle spacers out of a legacy outback?? All of your help is greatly appreciated!

I ran 02/03 wrx KYB and Progress springs, which both lowered and improved the car. No special things needed
