I'm sure Brian_i knows a few good roads. Artic road is a good one if I remember correctly. Hope's old Vibe GT never made it up there.

I've been down artic valley road once and up it half way once... and all the way up it once. Never been all the way up there in the winter though. Probably wouldn't risk it without studs on the car.

Highland is nice too. Arctic valley i gonna pretty much be the best all around option for testing them tires. You will usually see alot of stoner dudes around with older subies and snowboard racks doing the same thing you are.

hehe

Arctic valley road, Highland, Skyline drive, beach lake(be careful of moose late at night), hatchers pass, potter valley road, road to flattop, kindcaid, west park. Those are just to name a few, some are isolated some are not. Eagle River is awsome at 3am...Absolutly no one on the road around those times. I usually just spent nights driving around finding back roads that are twisty. Also for a parking lot I go to eagle river alot at this church. It has cones all around the parking lot and I usually practice around them alot. I don't remember the name though.

There is also Crow Creek Road in Girdwood. Although it can be a bit sketchy because towards the top dogs like to sleep in the road. It's not fun going up the road, but going down is sweet.
