Default UTEC on JDM V7

My setup is EJ257 bottom end with JDM V7 heads running stock JDM V7 ecu.

I was wondering if a UTEC that was on a wrx would work with my setup?

Thanks

Mike

According to the guys at TurboXS when I called on the same setup yesterday, Yes it will work. But you will have a CEL for the fuel injectors. The new Delta system will work without throwing the CEL, but either will do the trick. If you are like myself and live in an area that does not perform emissions checks, just use the old Utec. If you have to pass emissions though, I would sell the old UTEC and by the Delta. I hope this helps!

Cool thanks.

If I use the old UTEC would I still retain my avcs?

Yes. From What I understand, The UTEC will not control anything with AVCS. So the Wires going to and from the ECU to AVCS Control simply get routed through the UTEC, but with unaltered signals. The only problem is a CEL that has something to do with the injector voltage to low.
