yea, very nice. But we, as in subaru nuts, make that kind of horsepower with less money. But out of the box, very impressive.

I'm sure he could lol

but when you think about it... that kind of power for less then an Evo 9MR haha... and it would smoke an Evo 9MR... well a stock one anyway.

It gave me a good idea though of what an 06 STi looks like with the lip and spoiler because thats probably what I'll end up doing when I get one... Put a lip on it eventually.

I thought he said 40,000 dollors... who knows. he compared the price, power and speed to other cars saying it cost half as much and was just as fast if not faster then porche and such. Good video. I suggest the whole thing be watched.

its not as easy to make 415 brake horse power without a ton of turbo lag though. and that thing has a lot more than just a dope powerplant.. still pretty expensive though.

Sorry for this bit of off topic ignorance, but could someone clairify what brake horsepower is. Someone tried in the past, but it didn't stick. Oh, and That car is raw. Trackday brutallity refined by DD acoutrements.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brake_horsepower
Quote:
Brake horsepower (bhp) is the measure of an engine's horsepower without the loss in power caused by the gearbox, generator, differential, water pump and other auxiliaries. Thus the prefix "brake" refers to where the power is measured: at the engine's output shaft, as on an engine dynamometer. The actual horsepower delivered to the driving wheels is less. An engine would have to be retested to obtain a rating in another system. The term "brake" refers to the use of a band brake to measure torque during the test

what i mean is that it is not a production car, i think you would have to be very very rich to get prodrive to make one for you.
