inspection on ej20k swapped 2001 rs help

ok guys, i live in north carolina and i need to know if anyone living in nc knows where i could get my car inspected...i dont even know how to go about getting it done, some help/incite plz??

i was told before by a subaru tech "all of them full of crap" said that i could use any subaru before 04 to hook up to the obd2 machine and just type in my information on my registration and it will work, he said that 05's and up are the ecu's that log vin #'s...is this true?

yes 05 have the vin in the ecu .. and some 04s

if you can find a crooked tester any subaru 96 or newer will work

yeah, you dont even need a subaru if you find a guy to pay off, quite a few people emit the exact same as a new ford focus around here

but i guess its easy to find a guy to pay off?!?

I'm worried enough about mine, when the time comes, and it's obdII compatible.
