Hey everyone. Does anyone know anyone that can street tune UTEC? I'm asking because I don't have the money to do a dyno tune, so I'm willing to shell out a little bit of money just to clear up bogging and smooth out the acceleration when i step on the gas. If you know someone that is highly experienced with this, please PM me as it would be greatly appreciated.
My mods go as follow, stage 4: -VF39 -STi pink injectors -Up-pipe -Down-pipe -Exhaust -FMIC -UTEC Thanks.

I don’t see a wideband on your list of accessories(?) It’s hard enough to road tune timing without the use of a dyno, but without AFR you can’t tune fuel either… So the only thing you can road tune is boost. Likely your bogging and less then smooth acceleration is a fueling/timing issue…
Good luck... |

^ it's still hard to, but you just have to make the best of it using the UTECs data log.. that's how most people got away with that..

Without a wideband, you can tune for driveability, but not for power. You just try to make the ECU-UYEC transition. If you have an EGT gauge you can try, but its not at all accurate.

you could try Pirouz @ DPS www.dpstuning.com ... he's got a wideband he can hook up to your car.
