Borla is the only company that makes headers for the phase 2 EJ22.

Borla's website has them listed at a ridiculous price (>$500).

Someone on RS25 found them for about $200 less, but then that post was followed by someone who did buy them and didn't like them at all.

So there you have it, Borla will make one for your car. We can't use the same ones that the EJ253 guys use because of single-port/dual-port heads

You can have a custom header made for way cheaper than a name brand aftermarket company. I had one custom fit to my existing header back and couldn't be happier with the results for $250 for the header to be built and installed. Here is a sound clip of my setup.

MY96 OBS, 2.2L 5spd w/single ports heads, short ram intake, custom exhaust using magnaflow muffler, resonated midpipe and stromung HFC section.

I bought a cracked singleport Borla (saving myself the time and money it would take for a new one to crack) for $50 and had it welded. Sound is awesome but I don't believe there is much gain, if any.

The next one will be similar to the homebrew ones shown above.

I have a 2001 2.2l 5spd and I bought the borlas for about $260. I def noticed a little more subaru rumble, but nothing like the wrx. and if you get the borlas, be ready to widen out the holes on the flange to make it fit in place. I had to widen out all of the holes to get it to fit as they are not built to very precise specs
