Default Downpipe install

Ok, my cousin and I were trying to install the DP tonight. Well...Long story short... The bolts connected to the midpipe and DP would not budge. Ruining our dreams to put the DP, we gave up. Is there any place that I can head to, to get installed for not to crazy of a price. I'm on a budget (who isn't) and I have to postpone everything until this pipe is in. I'm hoping somewhere this coming weeked or the next I can have it in. Any solutions or places?

Thanks,
Sam

go to the auto parts store and buy a product called PB Blaster, i had the same problem, this will loosen those bolts right up.

I sprayed the heck out of the bolts with WD-40 and gave it about 30 mins to penetrate and then it worked fine.

Make noises like those powerlifters do, that helped me out when I did my pipes, and lots of wd40.

Haha, No the bolts literally killed me. Didn't have enough time to do it also.

Might as well try again next weekend. I hate cramp working areas. But got to do what I got to do.
Any more advice feel free to help me out haha.

Thanks for the replies,
Sam

Alright, Thanks for the offer of help.

Yea the garage is big enough to work in. I use a ramp to get the car up so maybe a little more room to work in. I'll probably go buy some PB blaster this friday or so. How much do they run for?

Alright, Just in case I might need another place to work in since I'm not sure if the house will be occuipied with family or such. ( Hates when I work on things when the family is around). So if anyone is willing to spare a place for me somewhere this weekend or next I'll be glad for that. If I have to pay I can give a small amount haha...

How long did it takes you to do it?

is it a catted or catless dp, and do you have a cat back system allready if so do you have a CEL fix? and you either need a new turbo heat sheild or to alter your......... I think. On the 06 WRX's you do, so yeah. just curious

It's a catless. I'm going to buy a cel fix from gruppe-s either tomorrow or tuesday. I have the stock mid pipe on, but I have a custom end pipe. I'm buying my friends skunk2 exhaust on saturday but I'm not sure If I'm planning to put it on this weekend.

I love the gains.

the one on the turbo? or mid pipe? Both of my stock gaskets were good, showed no signs of leaks so I used the stock ones and their fine. Just check them.
