I just had my Brembos installed today. The rear rotor and brackets went on perfectly and the e-brake works like it did against stock rotors, maybe even a little better!

Here is a pic:

I'll take a better pic tomorrow when I adjust my Teins.

you can get them new here:
click me

I got them from jdmpartstx.com used, with tires, for about $1700 picked up. On JapanParts.com they'll cost you $1800 new shipped. JapanParts is the only place I know of that you can get them anytime.

That looks great Todd. It was a bit of a rush to get that out to you but it looks like everything was just fine.

Props to Agile Automotive for being the first besides me to install. It ain't rocket science but the hardware I sent for them wasn't perfect so they had to take their time and adjust it correctly. I heard not a peep from them so they must be the type of shop that 'gets it done'. Trust me when I say that is not the norm.

Also - major kudo's to Robbie (robbieshonda on here). I have an 06 so my car isn't a candidate - but I drove an hour plus down to him and we spent a lot of time doing our best to insure it works right the first time. He is definitely on my Xmas list.

And of course it wouldn't have happened w/out Tom at KartBoy and Mark at DBA for listening to me rant.

It's my first 'project' - so I'm pretty happy to actually do something besides push parts. I certainly hope to do more given time.

PS- I cannot list prices in this thread. Go to the vendor section for that.

-Ken

Thanks Ken. So far so good. I'll be headed up to Montreal tomorrow so I think that will give them a good test. I'll let you know what my findings are. These things are sick, I love Brembos

Too bad, my FSTi wheels are going back on this week, and Ken is mailing me my brembo kit tomorrow so we'll look very similar by Wednesday or so.

I just completed a 2000 miles trip to and from Montreal, Canada with these brakes. They performed great, especially at the time attack event I went to. E-brake worked flawlessly the whole time even when using it to actually help stop the car.

FIRST pics of a WRX wagon!!

This kit was a total piece of cake to install, and the fitment of the brackets was PERFECT!

I read most of this thread but i still have a few questions. Are these rotors the same as the 04 STi? Meaning say i buy this and one warps down the road can they be replaced easily?

The kit includes the adapters and rear rotors only correct? Is this a link on your website for this yet?
Thanks!

i've read quite a bit of this thread, but not all...

would this rear brake kit bolt onto my 99RS? if so, i'm very interested. and, at that point, any hint as per what i'd need to also do the fronts to the STi brakes?
