do you have a 2-bolt copper uppipe gasket but with a 2.5 inch hole?
my gruppe-s header doesn't fit a stock gasket at all and i'm having a hard time finding something that will hold. |

ARRGGGH! Where were you guys about two weeks ago!? That Cat was EXACTLY what I was looking for, and for $305 no less!! What a great price, damn. Ack, I'm so pissed, I'm going to go punch my wife. (Just kidding about the punching the wife thing) Seriously though, that catted mid-pipe is quite a deal, best of luck selling them.

No reason to get a gasket with a hole larger than the uppipe entrance, no matter what crazy-sized hole is in the flange of the header. I'd say look for a normal exhaust gasket made for a 2-bolt 2.5" pipe. There are plenty of those around. In fact, we have them for our Legacy midpipes but they're just normal composite "high temp" gaskets and I'm not sure they would hold up to being in the uppipe/header location because of the extreme exhaust pressures and heat on that side of the turbo. Might even want to take one of our gaskets or an OEM gasket and make the hole larger... would be easier with ours because the copper is soft and you could cut it with a Dremel/hacksaw or with a few passes of a box cutter or something and make a 2.5" hole. I just placed an order for your midpipe special. Will it bolt up to the stock cat-back, even though that isn't 3"? Is the CU-seal gasket needed?

The bolt holes will line up but it's not the ideal situation to mate a 2.5" donut style flange and a 3" flat flange. The normal problem is small leaks that are hard to get rid of. It's the reason we made the 3" gasket, and it has been extremely good at sealing mix-matched 3" and donut-style connections. So still not the ideal way to do things, but yes, they will bolt up. (you may need to go to Home Depot or whatever to get some hardware (two bolts, two nuts, maybe some washers) as the stock parts might not work for this and I know the larger size bolts that we include don't fit through the tiny holes in the oem catback flange.
