I wanna know that same thing. I just found out the hard way that an impreza rear swaybar WON'T fit a '98 GT wagon because it doesn't clear the spare tire.

Some will and some wont. The impreza fire wall is closer to the passenger than the legacy. So if the brace is made for the older wrx it may not. Spoon sports strut brace for the wrx fits legacy, sparco does not. etc
So just make sure the brace doesn't hit the firewall.

some may also have a problem hitting the hood scoop block-off plate. i've got a primitive bar designed for the impreza and it fits fine. you might want to look for one that's somewhat adjustable to be on the safe side..
