Default Trunk Size Difference - 02 WRX Sean & 05 STi Sedan

what are the differences in sizes of these two trunks? i'm thinking of buying a box/amp setup from a guy on the forums that fits up against the rear seat. if it fits in his sti, will it fit in my rex?

The bodies have yet to change with the wrx/STi models, so it should fit right in.

and the correct answer is: the difference in size is due to the rear intercooler tank on the right hand side.

the passanger rear side of an sti has a water tank for the intercooler behing the rear wheel well, if the box fit against the seat the tank should not pose a problem.
