Talking WTT: My CF Hood for your '04-'05 WRB Hood

Gone! Thanks wrxtuner13

Got new wheels, hood no longer really fits with the new look so away she goes.

It's a JSP hood. No damage, no issues with the hood at all.
Looking for a 2004-05 wrb hood with no chips or scratches. If there's bugs on it scrape em off first
Hood pins included
Pick-up only.
I'm in Virginia Beach.

Yea, I traded my stock hood for this one a while ago so I figured why not pass on the good fortune. Plus then I don't have to buy another stocker for my car.

my goal is to eventually end up with a black fmic, no frickn wing and a RS hood! Aside from the sound of the car I would love to ge it looking like an RS! Granted it is not an STI but it will be pretty fast by that time! Good luck. Hell if your car was black I could get you the trade right away! I am sure you will not have much of a problem either way. Way to pay it forward!

Terribly big kudos for paying it back. I'm glad to see the HR crew is still about people vs. dollars.

Semi Random question... it didn't need hood pins?

Not for me. I've had the car at 160+ and the hood latch held it just fine.

No pins needed eh? Interesting. I saw a race a couple years ago and watched a c/f hood take a ride up into the windshield of a '03 STi at only about 60mph. Guess its a hit or miss kinda thing. *shrug*

I was debating a c/f hood and trunk lid for mine, but I dont want people to look at it and think "stupid ricer". I was also skeptical about how it would look on WRB.... black and blue associates with a "bruise" in my head, heh. But heck, yours looks nice. I am more about appearance than performance and really only out to make myself happy with my automotive "art". The look of yours has inspired me to think more about possible c/f additions.

Like DRNWAGN, I plan on a FMIC just to get rid of the scoop and go for extraction, so I am still looking at some time down the road for funding.

Nice ride though. Thanks for the inspiration.
