Default help

so i'm just driving along minding my own business, and I notice i don't have much power and the more i step on the gas, the higher the RPM's are getting without shifting. Then I get to the point where there is no power in any gear. It's like I'm in Neutral when i'm in P, D, R, 3,2,1.

don't tell me my tranny is dead

Tranny fluid could be bad, burnt. I'd say spend $20, if you do it yourself, and change your tranny fluid. Replace the filter while your at it. I need to change mine now that I think about it.

figured since he was selling, id use this thread ^_^. For the past couple of months, the service engine light will pop on and cruise will flash for random things. When I drive the car hard, it hardly happens. its only on certain occasions, like when I speed up to pass someone. (keep in mind its still under 60 when this happens, no crazy speed stuff) Sometimes it will go away if I let the car cool down for a few hours. Today, coming down artic valley, I just put it in neutral down the entire hill and let it cool down that way, shut if off, back on and was good to go. Anyone know what this could be? I dont want to leave my wife with a big problem when I go down to the states tomorrow. And I dont want her to break it either!!!

Do you have turbo-back exhaust without engine management?

Anyone with an accessport or an OBDII scanner can grab that code for you. I would, but I'm in Kenai.
