I also installed the new grill, I like how it cleans the front end up and make it look kinda stockish.

/\ Gonna look much better with the BBK installed.

I think the grill will help with the stock-ish look i'm going for when I take it in for inspection, I don't want them to notice it's not too far from a stock car.

I'm using the Brembo Rears. I have a 14" 6-piston setup for the front.

GD intake. I tried to use as many parts from the GD's as possible, I figure they've had more R&D and are designed for a heavier car and only need minor modifications to fit on the lighter GC.

John:

When converting, did you used back the V8 Engine and chassis wiring?

I had both main harnesses behind the dash merged. I used the JDM ver. 8 Engine harness. US RS radiator fan & headlight harness, as well as the RS rear chassis harness for tail lights. I did have to make a new harness for the Fuel pump controler, but that was only a few wires.

Yes, and the grill, when the rest of the car gets painted. Justin didn't have enough room in the paint booth.
I really want to see how the new wheels look now that the front's painted but I'm a little under the weather and I've lost my voice. I'm taking it back Thursday evening to get the body work done, it should be all painted by next Monday with the JDM rear bumper. Then I'm installing the exhaust, and the new brakes & wheels. going to get it corner balanced and aligned later next week. Then I will go pass emmissions, and get it inspected & registered so I can drive it to get re-tuned (and install the new JUN WG actuator and Prodrive 3-port boost control solenoid.)

man...this is sweeeeeeeeet

your car is coming together really well.

i have the same headlight/corner set up....i dont like the way the corners have that white around the edge.

you should hit up the pure orange corners....they look awesome:

wow.

i just read through the whole thread, and your car is really similar to what id like to do as my "dream" build when i actually have time and money. i really admire all the attention to detail youve put into it, as well as making sure to do everything right the first time, using quality parts throughout. it looks amazing.

I took it back to the body shop this morning, should be all painted by Mon. I'm going to drop off some body pieces tomorrow, I'll see if I can snap some more progress pictures.
