Default how to update xml defs

Just got an XPT map but cant look at anything in Ecuflash or Enginuity gives me an error. How do i load the proper Xml Defs. Any help is appreciated.

What version are you using?
If you are still on 0.3.x uninstall it. Download the latest 0.4.0 version, it comes with the latest version of the ecu_defs.xml. The latest version of Enginuity has some new featured too.

I did that and it still doesnt know the defs.

ev8siv3 changed the ECU id in the XPT maps. You'll have to get with him to find out what the original version was and add it to the ECU definitions.

I thought the maps came with xml definitions?Can't they just be added to Enginuity's definitions?
