News NASIOCers!! Starter mods list

Driving my 92 ss thinking of upgrades. Have intake, muff and agx's. I am a turbo neophyte and looking for you geniuses to lead me in the right direction. Money is a bit of a holdback, so please no suggestions for a cosworth block or garret turbo upgrade. Sort of looking for a working man's mod list. DIY is a plus. Also ideas on used parts that will fit.

Am I barking up the wrong porcupine (Tree)? By using this site?

Okay.

If I understand your ramblings you're looking for cheap effective mods.

I suggest http://bbs.legacycentral.org. Search around that there, it has plenty of ideas and a wealth of knowledge.

Off the top of my head I'd do the following:
- 16G turbo either from Deadbolt or off an early WRX
- Injectors and pump (I think N/A rails and *yellow?* top injectors work)
- DYI fuel cut defender
- Saab or WRX intercooler
- Short shifter (Don't remember if you'll need WRX linkage)
- WRX brakes

Pretty much most WRX stuff will fit (IE: Downpipe with midpipe tweak, etc...) It depends on what you're going for, looks, handling, just speed.

The best advice is to search and read.

Yeah Nasioc definitely isn't the place to start for your car. SL-i.net and Legacycentral ftw. You'll get more info there.

Isn't there a $8 coffee mug mod for the turbo leg's? Also, intercooling the motor helps it, just gotta figure out the piping.

Right. Those are the first two mods most turbo owners do.
