HorsepowerFreaks

"A series of low-volume versions with even greater power and grip were built by Subaru's in-house modifier, Subaru Tecnica International (STi). STi versions of the Impreza, which produced 280 PS (206 kW) from new, are often raced, largely unmodified, in the Group N class in various rally championships to great success. Introduced in 1994, the STi has proven to be a very popular high-performance machine in the Japanese domestic market. Introduced to the United States in 2004, the US model STi features the larger displacement 2.5L (EJ257) that features AVCS."

GB Details: We'll go for approx a month/ when the cams are available from Brian. At that point we'll take payment and ship the cams out. I've done a lot of work with Brian and his products are Excellent. Common questions...is that price for all 4 cams? yes all 4. Are these re-grinds? No, they're billet cores. Why so cheap? I ask why everyone elses are soo expensive! lol Thanks guys. The Evo and Supra guys love their cams...get in on a great deal.

What kind of power will the 272's net? I am currently at 370awhp with a 20g and alchy on 23psi. I am just trying to figure out if the cams will be good for me. I am putting together a built bottom end, and while the enigine is out cams might be a good idea.

Fix it and keep it I am not going to take a huge hit on it. I was just pissed because the guy I bought it from 3 months ago knew the rings were bad. He told me the car was perfect blah, blah blah. I have since taken the turbo off twice, had to PCV valves go bad and now the rings.

If I have an EJ255 longblock but I'm not using AVCS, I know I need AVCS cams, but will these act exactly the same as if they were just 272 duration cams in non-AVCS heads?

I'd like to see how they do before buying them. Someone on s2ki.com lost power using the BC cams.
