Just go with a universal borla and custom bent piping from an exhaust shop. Believe me it'll sound just as good as any other exhaust. It's hard to find an exhaust that doesn't sound good on a scooby, since the engine is what is really making the noise sound the way that it does.

What type of Borla mufflers did you guys buy? Were they to Boomer series or the Universal Turbo? Thanks!

agree...for under $300, you can get a muffler shop to bang out custom stainless steel piping and a high quality muffler like a magnaflow or borla.

Seeing that you live in MA and since they still salt the roads in the east coast, I suggest you stay away from Stromung, unless you want a ball of rust in a couple of years. If you want Stromung, go w/ the stainless, but that's going to cost more than you have to spend.

rupteur7000 - for $542US + shipping you can get a single tip Brullen cat-back for your car. It's made of T304SS, comes in your choice for acoustic preference, and also limited lifetime warranty.

rupteur7000 - That's $542US + shipping, and it's from Canada.

You can contact iON Performance for more info.

$542 is the i-club discounted price. Normally they run $100-$150 more for retail.

Stromung stainless single tip with stainless mid-pipe costs about that, give or take $15. There are other options, as well, $542 is plenty for a decent, stainless cat-back.

rupteur7000 - correction, the $542US + shipping is for the dual tip, the single tip is $510US + shipping.

bsquare - two distinct values that Stromungs don't have are acoustic preferences, as well as a lifetime warranty.

Why are all your posts ads for something you sell, GTBGUY?

$400 and a visit to a good local muffler shop will get you an exhaust with just about any appearance or volume level you desire (and hey, no shipping!).

There are many choices out there. Brullen is probably a good one, but it is not the only one.

bsquare - I'm just offering another alternative. Yes there are alot of systems out there, but I'm just pointing out the unique features. Just as an FYI, all my posts are not ads. There have been countless number of guys I've helped by giving precise mechanical details etc. I'm just here to facilitate those who would like more information on choices, that's all.
