You better enjoy these last 2 weeks while you can. Because there is still hope. There will be no hope after Subaru unveils their creation though.

My predictions

The thing I could see changing is the front bumper, as subaru will make the fog lights an option with fog covers like the have done in the last years. I would expect somethign like the black STI below, maybe with a smaller opening.

The wing also on the sedan. The one pictured looks kind of like the older legacy wings. The new grill is close to the New Legacy one also.

The new wagon

The new sedan

i agree with your predictions in every step of the way.. there will be a sedan, wagon, and FINALLY the STI will not be a sedan nor wagon, but a hatch

im pretty sure that someone who has inside knowledge mentioned that there will be a hatch and a sedan model. and of course, the sti will be using the hatch style. granted the line between hatch and wagon is often times blurred, there wont be 3 variations on the impreza. i really hope it doesnt end up looking like the red and green one... the black one looks real nice, but the other two look like plain ol econoboxes.

Only way I'd consider getting an 08 STi hatch is if it had two doors. Which sucks because I've been holding off getting a new car for this redesign, I've been really looking foward to it...However, it's probably gonna suck.

There's still hope though, and even if it is butt ass ugly I hope it is at least a smaller vehicle that weighs less than the current chassis.

Guess for me though, it is about time to man up and get a Lotus.

I hear ya, I'm definitely looking for a more nimble car, "pig" not only applies to the styling of my '06 wagon but also its handling. Good choice on the Lotus though I see Honda will have a club racer version of it's S2000...

^ I think you're on to something. I bet it's based on this concept they were working on years ago:

I hear it uses drive-by-wire technology.

It's easy to keep things under wraps when you plan on dropping the model line.......

j/k

I don't really like the red and green version.

And another award for making so many changes because their 'top secret' styling crapped out.
