Default 04 WRX: TBE w/o AP?

i ordered a perrin UP/DP along with the cobb AP 2.0 a few days ago. I should be getting the exhaust pieces in a couple of days, but the AP doesn't ship till Nov. 30. I'm anxious to install them now, but would it be ill advised to run catless tbe w/catless UP for like a week without the AP? or should I just wait? Also, ive been hearing about some poeple having high egt's running the stage 2, should i be worried?

P.S. already have catback on the car.

i wouldn't and it doesn't have to do with EGT's. it has to do with a fueling delay present in your car. wait for the AP and do it all at once. or you can do the UP now but wait to do the DP.

ok cool. the UP is the hard part anyways.
few questions:
1. The AP Stage 2 calls for 3" tbe, but i will have a 3" DP with 2.5" catback. Will i be ok? i'm pretty sure it's no big deal, i'd rather just remove all doubt.

2. once i have the AP will my mbc be useless? i've heard the AP sets the boost, but not sure.

3.should i worry about get a wideband? had one on my dsm, but i only had an safc, which doesn't have preset maps

1. yes you're fine

2. the AP sets new boost parameters, so if choose to use your MBC YOU control the boost not the ECU. i suggest using the AP and not your MBC.

3. no you don't need a WB unless you are going to tune your fueling maps. which you can't do with the AP anyway, you need the street tuner software to tune anything yourself.
