Default running stage with a catted downpipe

ok so i did alittle research and didnt come up with anything.
what i want to know is if it is safe to run cobbs stage2 with
just a helix catted downpipe stock catback
do you guys recomend it or not

Should be fine. The Helix down pipe has the mid pipe as well I believe. If you get boost creep, which you shouldn't, just go to stage 1 till you get a catback. The difference is a huge between stock and Stage 1 and Stage 2, you will like it ALOT I did!

stage 2 works great with only downpipe; I have ran 2 with cobb dp for a month, not a single problem- Have fun!!!

Ya, many have done Cobb Stage2 with just a downpipe with no problems. In theory, you'd be running alittle higher backpressure, whihc would yield slightly slower boost response (less prone to spiking) and potentially slightly hotter EGT's, but since the general concensus is that Cobb OTS maps are a bit rich and the difference in backpressure is likely to be fairly low, I wouldn't worry aboot it.

tis fine. i run the STi oem catback with my VF34 setup @ 19 psi and my EGT are a OK.

I ran a helix catted DP with the stock catback for about 6 months and didn't face any problems. I wasn't able to monitor egts, but according to the datalogs everything else appeared fine and the car felt great.
