Default 2008 Acura NSX

Honda is focused on the development of a new model to succeed the NSX. Planned for 2008, Honda NSX should benefit from its experiment in F1 by proposing a V10 engine for the new car.
This addresses the single largest complaint about the original NSX, which has always been its lack of power.
Just like the old one, will be a technological window for Honda "This new sports car will be the first of a new generation" concluded the director of Honda, Takeo Fukui.
With the V10 the new NSX will be the most powerful honda ever made. The carmaker is aiming for the top in producing engines.
The new Honda/Acura NSX will move upmarket, and will target Aston Martin.
2008 NSX II will offer a 4.5 Liter V10 and a 3.6 V6 , all wheel drive with prices around $100,000.

It would be appropriate if the NSX II came on the market in 2009 looking like a showcar from 2003.

Otherwise it will be interesting to see what they come up with.

funny how i see this, and i just finished re-watching a Top Gear episode about the last NSX and how Honda kept bringing it back, but Top Gear said in the end its still a Honda and now one will pay that much for a Honda, give it up...

x2. This thing will be so refined and agile... adding a V10 will just complete the NSX package.

Isn't F1 now using V8s? Wouldn't it make much more sense for them to develop a V8 that they could then leverage across their line (RL, TL)?

I agree on the V8 factor.

Honda has much more/better expierience on high output V8's.

That's the only Honda I would look into for myself at this point. That thing is badass. I'm guessing it'll put out more than 500 hp, knowing them...

I think Honda knows what it's doing when it comes to engines.

flyinpig, by the look of the hood, that looks like a front engine car. the new NSX will probably (hopefully) be mid-engine. maybe thats like a future s2000 coupe?

The magazine pic looks more like the next S2000.

Bonnet/hood is too long for a mid-engined car.

Not that I have any faith in thse magazines, but The car in ^^^ rendering looks 10000000x better than the one in the first post. The 1st one is just utter BLAH. I highly doubt Honda would put something that bland out into the marketplace today.
