Default legacy and the "other" car...

So, we've had this thread a few times before, but this time you are allowed to KEEP your legacy and have a second car of your choice (within a somewhat realistic budget).

I would drive a landrover defender (or really any landrover I could afford) or a 1960's lincoln continental. Or, how about a subaru brat with a wrx engine and trans swap?!? That would be sweet...

Here’s my daily driver. Nothing glamorous but gets the job done and hauls all my crap around.

To some degree it may even be consider the “official support vehicle” for the boosted LGT

Something with fuel efficiency gets my vote.

CRX maybe? Hothatch FTW.

My current "other car" is a twenty year old 1986 Dodge W-250 3/4 ton 4x4 pickup truck. Unfortunately it handles "like a truck" and only gets ~ 11-12 MPG.

The trick is to find the "ultimate car" that is comfortable for 4-5 normal size people, has good performance, high fuel-efficiency, is reliable, is safe, goes well in snow, and isnt too conspicuous. (others may have different criteria).

For me the second generation Legacy does this better then most.

Dude I love the Z3 coupe's.. Z4's are even better but too expensive. You can get one of these pretty reasonably:

If i didn't have to drive it every day i'd have something cooler, but the miata is the best daily driver. The G/F gets the wagon.
