well the only reason the rules are there are for this little crap bird call a Pipping Plover or something. Supposedly it liked our beach and fish and wildlife think we are going to throw a frisbee and god for bid it hits the bird mid air or something.... dont ask me lol. I think some secrete squirrel ops are in order to rid ourselves of the bird completely.

Hey, I still think Corsons Inlet SP in south OC might not be too bad. Its a state park, so you can probably bring dogs, they must be on a leash though. However, I have no clue what it looks like on the weekends, this time of year.....

As for the piping plover.... One of our projects (I don't work on it) does work to manage and protect the species, however I don't necessarily agree with all the techniques. Closing beaches to minimize disturbance I do agree with though. But there are more serious problems that end up plaguing the plover like tidal flooding and predators (fox & feral cats).

The previous owner still has it. I didn't really have a need for it, but now that you've asked, I should've kept it when I had the work done... bah.

+1 for the Corsens Inlet idea. we could meet at the parking lot/boat ramp underneath the Ocean City 55th street bridge. its a decent size parking lot that doesnt get a ton of traffic. overhead pics of the cars from up on the bridge might look cool too. i can post pics of the lot thursday when i get down if it helps.

its going to be packed. the boat ramp gets used a lot there, and all of the people who use the beach, as well as the people who fish from the bridge all park there. Its entirely up to you guys, Corsons inlet is closer for me anyways.

how about off the island of ocean city over the 34th street bridge. i dont go out that way that often but the last time i went that way there looked like alot of vacant parking lots that we could probaly meet at.

Well there may have been during the winter. But now there all open, the parking lots will be in use(blvd liquors, yesterdays, obadiah's, pappys)
I would say we could use my fire house parking lot(we have room for 20+ cars out back, but Id have to clear it with my chief before hand, and ensure no one is renting the social hall that particular day. Maybe something to keep in mind for future meets, even if we kicked up like 10 bucks each and made a 100 dollar donation to the fire company, they'd be even more inclined to let us use it, and continue using it. There are also plenty of rural roads around to take cruises on, as well as the island towns (ocean city, and sea isle) about 5 minutes away.

For now, I think Corsons inlet or Wildwood is our best bet. Im leaning towards Corsons inlet, mostly because of the no dirt-gravel road etc, plus its closer for some of the more northern guys.
Hope to see you all this weekend

Go south in OC on West ave to 55 street, turn right onto 55th, you will see signs for "Ocean Drive". Right before the bridge make a left into the parking lot, and you are there.

And I think you may have been the guy who had like 4 girls in the car and all gave me the finger one day around 34th street in OC on West? I think you have an SPT exhaust? This was about a month ago.

Leave him a note on his car that theres a meet on sunday at corsons inlet!
it wasnt a blue one, it was a steel gray 06-07, pretty much same exact car as mine, minus the exhaust.

DAMN! Thats bogus, what a d*ck! His mommy probably bought his ride for him....

The other night @ Target in Mays Landing I parked next to an 02-03 WRB wagon w/ wheels and placed a note about our thread on his car.

I'll see ya'll on Sunday @ high noon. I might be a lil late, probably coming back from Waretown that morning, then have to p/u my car from Tuckahoe.

How many are coming on Sunday?

I'll be there for sure. I went down to Corson's Inlet today to take some pictures of the area with a buddy of mine. Looks like a cool spot for a meet. Hopefully a lot of people will show up. I saw a WRB Bugeye Wagon parked across the street from the Wawa on 34th st. Had CT tags, yellow fogs, black
painted stockers. I was gonna leave him a note about the meet but he vanished.
