Any way you could etch the shift pattern into them? I would love the black polymer one and then put some red paint in the shift pattern. That would go cool with my San Remo Red wagon.

I dont have etching/engraving tools right now. Perhaps one of those little shops at a mall that engrave jewelery can do it to one of the knobs for you?

The other downside is that if I screw the knob onto my car and mark the "up" side, then it screws onto another car "up" might not be in the same position. this would mean a very strange looking appearance.

The aluminum knobs bottom out in a very defined fashion where the end is the end. The Copolymer though can be twisted a little extra to keep it turining until it lines up right, so it may work.

let me know if you are serious about pursuing this idea. Id be interested to see the results.

I did not think of that.
On another note, I have a Greddy knob that is shaped a lot like yours and I hate the sharp edges on the top. Ever thought of keeping your the same height but instead of a flat top, do a more rounded one. Not completely round like your others. I think that would be nice. Does that make sense?

I have a friend that makes decals and that might be the way to go. Not sure how well they would stick to the plastic though. I do like your idea as it is the same as my Greddy knob.

I can do almost any type of custom shift knob you are looking for (except for off-centered curves/rounds) so yes, I could make a rounded top to one of the versions.

As for sticker decals, I can easily machine a flat rounded recess into the top of a sphere or any style knob which could hold a pre-made decal of almost any diameter. I wouldn't exceed 1" diameter though because that cuts off alot of the round part. The piston style is 1.5" on top so that would be the limit.

Do you have the black acetal copolymer for a Legacy GT 5mt? If so, how much. I tried to look on the site, but couldn't figure it out...

that depends on the transmission's shift lever type. If it is just a rod with nothing attached then any of the WRX style knobs will fit. If it has the reverse ring (like the LGT 6speed) then you can use any STi style knob.

ALL Subarus use the M12x1.25 thread so they will all screw right on.

Any chance of a white WRX knob? I love the simple round look, and would pretty darn interested in replacing my Prodrive if you decided to make some. Either that, or it's the cue ball.....

Yea of course, I have about 10 inches of the White Copolymer left. I assume you want the Sphere with collar style.

Had a new idea from a customer:

How do you like this? I may continue a run and put them on the TiC website if people like it.

I also have new inventory for Copolymer STi Sphere and Copolymer WRX Sphere with Collar
