turbo hoses

I have been reading a lot of posts lately about mbc's, ebcs, and bleeder valves. I even made the $4 mbc. I noticed how there is a restrictor in the line that goes from the turbo outlet to the tee. I was wondering what the effect would be if you somehow put more restriction in one of the lines or even pinched one of the lines (either from the turbo to the tee, tee to fbc, or tee to wastegate). Any comments would be appreciated.

I think you may want to post this (or have it moved by a moderator) to Factory Forced Induction. I don't think this is a very newbie question to ask, and the people who are likely to answer your question are probably not avid readers of this forum

You would overboost as you would reduce or eliminate the signal to the factory boost control selenoid and the wastegate actuator. Guys running the Unichip are given a restrictor hose with a smaller diameter restrictor. This raises the boost the engine sees. If you completely plug it off the turbo would boost until fuel cut.
