I've haven't seen anywhere where anyone who has a Brullen turbo back exhaust has had any cels?.
I'm deciding to buy one from iON Performance because of Jack here in Calgary "great guy". He says no cels and I like the design/price and I can't afford $US. Canadian pasos not good Anyone got any info on Brullen turboback performance Thanks

Ive got one, but I am running the test pipe, no cat. And I get CELs every couple of days, it comes on, then goes off, then on the freeway it comes on again.... etc. etc.
I cant speak for the system when it has a cat... because, frankly, I still dont have the cat yet. Long story, that has been caused by one REALLY bad shop.... I wont mention who, because they already have been given enough grief... |

I'm running a FULL Brullen Turbo Back 3 inch with no cats and a catless Brullen Up-Pipe and I still get no CEL's.

Looks like they have the cel issue beat . No cats and no cels or just a couple is great. With cats I'm sure no cels. Must be good engineering on Brullens part.
I'm ordering the quiet one with cats, wife the problem So hows the sound in real life as I have only heard it with wave file. Thanks |

The sound is awesome. It's been in there for months and I still get looks, yet it's not that obtrusive. I can still hear the radio and in 5th, it purr's.

They didn't have a naming convention when I got mine installed. I was the guinea pig for Richard in figuring out which setup works best. But I assume that mine would not be classified as the loud setup since there are no cats.
I don't have any means for recording a sound file, but I'll see what I can do next week. Rick.. |

What tips are those? I was looking for the dual 3in tips. I like the sound and look. I definately would like more performance but I definately want no CEL's. Right now I wanted the Stromung cat back with dual tips but the Brullen looks good. Does it clear the differential plate? If I buy the turbo back I guess even the quiet one will get louder to a decent level right? Thanks.

speedbuggy67 - the Quiet set-up is non-intrusive in the cabin, only time you'll be able to hear it is WOT.
maxum66 - the Brullen WRX cat-back is one of the very few Cat-backs that are 3", it provides for quicker spool/acceleration. Power is ~10-12hp @ stock boost levels, but is across the band (no loss of torque or hp anywhere). It's more of a driveability mod. Add a cat-less up-pipe, and you'll see more useable power and even faster spooling of the turbo to get on boost. |
